eCon SheeterDescription on Improvement
The current eCon Sheeters do not have an option for an auto decurl function. The operator must go to the main operator station at the shingling belts and increase decurl every few minutes to keep board flat and prevent jams. This manual operation requires significant operator time and consequently a decreasing efficiency. Additionally, the manual decurl adjustment is subject to errors and malfunctions due to too much or too little decurl. This influences the product quality in a negative way.
This TIP provides an automatic adjustment of the decurl according to the reel diameter during the production. The auto decurl function can be configured in the HMI (e.g. start/stop diameters and position).
