TIP F 2170 Replacement of the Hydraulic System to AC Servo Drive

TIP F 2170 Replacement of Hydraulic System to AC Servo Drive

Machine Model for Improvement

All Jagenberg Sheeters with automatic pile change system “Contimat” with hydraulic cylinders

Description of Improvement

This upgrade from the Technical Improvement Program (TIP) replaces the hydraulics of the layboy and the changing table to an AC servo technology with new driving shafts. The existing hydraulic components are obsolete and there are no spare parts available.

This upgrade contains a new driving motor for the layboy (stacker) and the two driving motors for the pile change device (for horizontal and vertival movements). The automatic layboy control will be replaced for a more continuous lowering of the layboy. In addition to that the automatic pallet height identification will be exchanged.

The installation of three new electrical cabinets and control unit for the servo drives is also included.

The new servo motors with the latest technology are standard components and maintenance-free. Oil leakages cannot occur any more as there are no hydraulic components used. The included components of this upgrade improve the stack quality.

Benefits

  • Spare parts availability and latest technology
  • Less maintenance
  • No more oil changes and no oil leakages
  • Using standard components
  • Faster pile changing
