Upgrade Description

Upgrade automates vacuum and spring finger down-force levels and instantly changes them to accommodate new order conditions. Operators no longer have to adjust the vacuum levels during order change.

Upgrade Benefits

• Improved performance – eliminates board breakage problems that occur from incorrect or delayed adjustment of vacuum levels.
• Improved stack quality from better sheet control.
• Decreased noise – reduces stacker noise levels and allows the vacuum section of the stacker to meet the current European noise standards (daily exposure not exceeding 85 dBa) without using noise enclosures.
• Decreased power consumption – power consumed is matched to current production demands. This can reduce energy consumption by as much as 75%, allowing a savings of about $7,000 per year for a typical plant with a double level stacker.
