Upgrade Description

The Double Dancer Roll Assembly Upgrade is designed to reduce the tension on the web as well as add additional web accumulation with the Splicer, as compared to web tension of single dancer roll assembly. The upgrade is best used in conjunction with the Model I, Model IM, and Model II Larger Cable Cylinder Upgrade. These two upgrades work together to increase the maximum splice speed of your splicer by 100 feet per minute while also increasing the overall reliability of the splicer.

Upgrade Benefits

  • Allows for reduced web breakage during a splice.
  • Reduces the tension on each of the paper webs.
  • Provides additional web accumulation within the splicer, allowing reduced web breakage during a splice.
  • Combined with the Model I, Model IM, and Model II Larger Cable Cylinder Upgrade, increases the maximum speed of the splicer by as much as 100 FPM (30 MPM).
