All MarquipWardUnited Model I, II and III Razorset® Slitter/Scorers without slitter blade guards or with the previous flat guard.Upgrade Description
The improved guard is mounted to the head casting. It covers the cutting edge of the slitting blade where possible to facilitate a better level of protection. A curved metal guard wraps around the upstream and downstream sides of the blade.Upgrade Benefits
- The upgrade enhances operator and maintenance safety by more thoroughly guarding the razor slitting blade.
- A tapered lead-in of the guard helps guide board through the slitting section for more reliable operation.
NOTE: MarquipWardUnited strongly recommends the use of cut resistant gloves whenever working near the slitter blades.
