TIP C 1015 Automatic Core Kicker for Unwind Stands (Chuck Type)

This TIP module adds a safety improvement to the unwind stands of cut-size sheeters (chuck type). It allows the operator to remove the residual reel from the chucks automatically without any manual operation.

A push button with enabling control located outside the reel dropping area operates both sides of the automatic core kicker. Its maintenance-free gear motors ensure that the reel will be pushed off the chucks safely and smoothly. The existing core chucks do not have to be replaced.

During a manual removal of the reel, the reel can be trapped at one of the core chucks, potentially causing an uncontrollable movement of the core chuck. This is a huge safety risk for the operator.

The core kicker upgrade dramatically reduces the risk of injuries caused by manual removal of the reel.
