Exhibition Success I BW Papersystems Secures New Order with Sahara Paper Industries at PAPER ME Egypt

Held from September 15 to 17, 2026, PAPER ME Egypt, one of the most influential paper industry exhibitions across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, took place at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo. BW Papersystems exhibited jointly with Sadek Group, its strategic regional partner that delivers local sales and technical support throughout the MENA market.

The exhibition concluded with a major milestone: BW Papersystems successfully signed an order with new client Sahara Paper Industries for a 2.5-meter wide, double-level doublewall intelligent corrugator. This landmark cooperation is a key achievement of the long-term partnership between BW Papersystems and Sadek Group, further expanding BW Papersystems' intelligent corrugator footprint and optimizing its market layout in the Middle East and North Africa. Sahara Paper Industries chose BW Papersystems for its global brand reputation, superior automation performance and high-capacity advantages, while recognizing the reliable local services provided by Sadek Group.

During the exhibition, BW Papersystems corrugating and finishing team conducted in-depth exchanges with customers from multiple countries, presenting customized full-plant solutions for diverse production demands. To deliver an intuitive view of real-time equipment operation, the team hosted live streaming demos, connecting remotely with two benchmark production sites: Jiangsu Hongsheng in China and Icierre Pack in Italy.

Jiangsu Hongsheng has the latest 2.8-meter high-speed intelligent corrugator from BW Papersystems, which has been running for almost four months. The line has maintained stable operation, delivering flat, high-quality corrugated boards consistently.  

Located in northern Italy, Icierre Pack boasts a cooperation history of more than 50 years with BW Papersystems. Since its founding in 1970, the enterprise has adopted Curioni equipment successively, and has further upgraded its production competence in the past five years with BW Papersystems 6.18 flexo folder gluer and ServoPro 16.28 servo rotary die-cutter.
