MiniPro Flexo Folder Gluer successfully commissioned at Scatolifico Sicart

Marco Angeli, New Equipment Sales Leader, BW Papersystems, has confirmed the company has recently commissioned a four colour 6.18 MiniPro flexo folder gluer at Scatolificio Sicart srl.

Based in Turin, Italy, Scatolificio Sicart specified the machine with four printing units, as it wanted to add flexibility in the range of corrugated packaging it can produce, as well as increase its appeal to customers in the region by offering more volume for four colour printed packaging.

The machine was built at BW Papersystems’ manufacturing facility in Hamburg, Germany; it is the first machine to be completed at the site. “The owners have been happy with how well the machine started up and also the excellent quality of print being achieved on the line,” says Marco Angeli. “We have a long and trusted relationship with them, as they have been running three Curioni lines at their plant for many years. This MiniPro was one of the first converting lines to be manufactured at our facility in Hamburg. Traditionally, our converting lines are manufactured either in the US or Italy, but following significant investment in our Hamburg factory, we are now building converting equipment at that site as well, allowing us to get machines delivered to customers in Europe even faster.”
