This upgrade is part of the Technical Improvement Program (TIP); it provides an electro-mechanical system to move the glue applicator across the ream in traversal direction. The unit consists of a linear rail, in connection with a timing belt and motor. The movement made by the motor guarantees constant speed and therefore a constant and less hot melt strip along the girth.
