TIP W 1550 Short Push Off Device

TIP W 1550 Short Push Off Device

Machine Model for Improvement

All Wrapmatic GRM Folio-Size Ream Wrappers

Description of Improvement

This upgrade is part of the Technical Improvement Program (TIP); it provides greater comfort and efficiency to the operator resulting in more output in less time. In the original machine, the ream must be pushed in completely before the belts can transport the ream.

The short push off device allows the operator to push the ream in about 200 mm against stop gates. Once the ream is pushed and squared against the stop gates by the operator, the stop gates to move to allow the upper and lower belts to transport ream to the next step. This upgrade consists of new squaring belt section; new upper squaring belt with main frame; new infeed gates assembly; and infeed adjustment guides.

Benefits

  • Improved ream squaring resulting in better package
  • Convenience for operators with an ergonomic design (less than 250 mm push)
  • More efficient production
