TIP C 2120 Replacement of AMK AN-AZ-AW modules with KE-KW series

Production of the first generation AMK AN-AZ-AW drive series has been discontinued and only a marginal number of new spare parts remain available. Factory refurbished spares or repaired parts may still be available, however at a high price, and often only in exchange for the old components. Moreover, these refurbished or repaired parts are more expensive than parts for the new KE-KW series.

This upgrade replaces the old AMK AN-AW-AZ modules related to the main drive, knife drive, accumulation belt and ream separating belt with the latest AMK KE-KW series drive controller and power supply. 3-4 drive axis in the collecting station are also included, depending on the sheeter configuration.

Exchanging these obsolete parts greatly improves machine availability as it reduces the risk of unplanned downtime.
