This upgrade is part of the Technical Improvement Program (TIP); it will remove the current Indramat CLC components on the panel out in the field and replace them with Logix components.
The current touch screen will be replaced by a new more user-friendly 12 in Magelis touch screen.
A new Logix controller will be put on the machine. The Logix controller is also a new standard in motion controller world that reduces the scan time significantly in order to allow future scan-time-intensive applications to be incorporated without sacrificing the actual scan time. The Logix and Magelis combination is proven to work well in the field and provides the least amount of risk.
Upgrade includes all necessary components, hardware, software and necessary engineering.
